From the beginning of pregnancy, the body produces a hormone called hCG (human Chorionic Gonadotropin), which is present in urine in increasing amounts as the pregnancy progresses. Pregnosis accurately detects levels of hCG as low as 25IU/L to determine whether or not a woman is pregnant.
This in-stream test does not require collection of a urine sample and is performed by holding the test device directly in the urine stream.
