How it works
1. Pick up your kit in store or online
Visit a participating Blooms The Chemist and ask for a Sapyen test kit, or order online with the link below (It comes in plain packaging for your privacy). As soon as you get it home, put it straignt in the fridge.
2. Register & collect your sample at home
When you’re ready, scan the QR code inside the kit to register. Then, in the comfort of your own home, collect your sample and mix it with the special fluid provided to keep it safe on the way to the lab.
3. Send it back & get your results in just 3 days
Fill out the form included in the kit, pop everything into the prepaid packaging, and post it back. Within three days, you’ll receive a clear and detailed fertility report straight to your email.

Is Sapyen accurate?
Sapyen’s Male Fertility Test is as accurate as in-person testing at the lab. Sapyen only partners with accredited labs to perform the semen analysis. Our special, patent-pending transportation fluid technology maintains the quality of the semen sample for 72 hours, allowing you to collect your sample at home, then post to one of our accredited laboratories, ensuring accurate and reliable analysis.
When should I take the test?
You should complete the test on a Monday or Tuesday, then post the kit back to our labs prior to 4pm on the same day using the provided, pre-paid Express Post sticker. We recommend these specific days to ensure the safe and timely arrival of your sample to our lab.
If I order online how will the test be delivered?
All Sapyen test kit deliveries are sent through Australia Post Express Service. The test kit will arrive in unbranded, discreet packaging, allowing you to receive the kit either at home or at your office with privacy.
How do I send the test to the lab?
You will need to pack your semen sample into the test kit sent to you. Sapyen includes a pre-paid Express Post return label with each kit for your convenience. Refer to the instructions manual for more information.
How long does it take to get my results?
Once a sample is collected and shipped back to our laboratory, it can take a maximum of 3 business days to receive your results. It's quick and easy.
Will my healthcare provider accept results from Sapyen?
Yes, most likely. Sapyen services patients internationally and partners with leading international IVF and fertility centres, working with the same CLIA-certified labs used by major healthcare providers. As a result, Sapyen test results are typically accepted by healthcare providers across the world.
If required, your results can be sent to your Healthcare Provider (Clinician) via email and/or postal mail. Ensure you specify this preference during the test kit registration process.
