General Product Description
Gastro-Stop Plus contains two active ingredients for relief of acute diarrhoea and associated gas-related symptoms such as bloating, cramps and wind.
The first active ingredient, loperamide, works locally on the digestive system by slowing down the movement of the intestines. This means that there is more time for your body to absorb water and nutrients, which helps to relieve diarrhoea.
The second active ingredient, simethicone, works on the gas bubbles by helping release them thus reducing the abdominal discomfort and wind that’s associated with diarrhoea.

Directions for Use
Gastro-Stop Plus dosage: Chew 2 tablets initially, followed by 1 tablet after each loose bowel motion as needed.
Gastro-Stop Plus can be used by adults and children over 12 years of age.
Do not take more than 4 tablets per day.
Warnings
If you have a fever, notice blood in your stools, are taking other medications, have another diagnosed medical condition, or are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a doctor before taking Gastro-Stop. Always read the instructions on the pack.
My doctor told me to take it for flatulence as I'm experiencing a bad case of it, works to an extent but I find I have issues still. Reduces diarrhoea but still have loose stools even taking 1 after a loose stool. I do find imodium works best but blocks you up and not recommended for long term use.
