General Product Description
Bactigras is an antiseptic, soft paraffin dressing which soothes and protects the wound whilst helping to reduce wound infection and inflammation.BACTIGRAS◊ acts as a barrier between the wound and a secondary dressing such as MELOLIN◊ low adherent wound dressing, allowing wound fluid to pass into the absorbent secondary dressing. The chlorhexidine acetate antiseptic is slowly released from the dressing, giving long lasting action against a range of bacteria.
Bactigras is indicated for adjunctive treatment and prevention of infection in skin loss lesions, including wounds, burns and ulcers.

Directions for Use
Apply to wound. Use a bandage or tape such as PRIMACREPE or PRIMAFIX Plus to hold a
MELOLIN dressing over the BACTIGRAS to keep it in place. Change daily or more frequently
if required.
Warnings
Should not be used if you have an allergy to Chlorhexidine. Always read and follow the manfacturers instructions
