General Product Description

Gaviscon Extra Strength brings fast, soothing and long lasting relief from the pain and discomfort of heartburn (gastric reflux) and indigestion.

Gaviscon quickly soothes the burning sensation and helps keep digestive acid in the stomach where it should be.

Directions for Use

Adults & Children over 12 yrs: 5-10mL (over 12 yrs old) as required after meals and before going to bed, up to 4 times a day or as directed

 

Warnings

Always read and follow the directions for use. 

The maximum total daily intake (40mL) for adults contains 424mg of sodium (take into account if on a low sodium diet).
Contains hydroxybenzoates, saccharin and sodium.
This medicine contains 78 mg of potassium per 10 mL, to be taken into consideration by patients with reduced kidney function or patients on a controlled potassium diet.

Separate doses of other medications by 2 hours
