Hydralyte Effervescent Electrolyte Tablets in Orange flavour offer a convenient way to replace lost fluids and electrolytes, making them a practical solution for maintaining hydration levels for the entire family. When dehydration occurs due to hot weather, fever or intense physical activity, these tablets work effectively to restore your body's fluid balance. Hydralyte tablets are also ideal when experiencing fluid loss from vomiting and diarrhoea, or after alcohol consumption.

Directions for Use

1. Remove 2 tablets from tube and replace the cap tightly. Dissolve in 200mL of fresh, cold drinking water. For babies under 6 months use freshly boiled and cooled water.
2. Sip slowly and frequently while symptoms persist.
3. Discard unused solution after 2 hours or 24 hours if refrigerated.
4. Do not mix Hydralyte with cordial, fruit juice, soft or sports drinks. Always dissolve in water.
5. Never place tablet directly into mouth. 2 tablets = 200mL

Recommended dosage for dehydration due to vomiting and diarrhoea:

2 tablets = 200mL of fluid

• Under 12 months: In first 6 hours mix and give 2-4 tablets. Up to 10 tablets daily
• 1-3 years: In first 6 hours mix and give 4-6 tablets. Up to 14 tablets daily
• 3-6 years: In first 6 hours mix and give 6-8 tablets. Up to 20 tablets daily
• 6-12 years: In first 6 hours mix and give 8-14 tablets. Up to 26 tablets daily
• 12 - Adult: In first 6 hours mix and take 12-20 tablets. Up to 40 tablets daily 

For dehydration due to other causes: Drink Hydralyte when thirsty or exhibiting signs of dehydration.

Always read and follow the directions for use If symptoms persist, consult your healthcare practitioner.

Seek medical advice if vomiting or diarrhoea persists for more than: - 6 hours in infants under 6 months. - 12 hours in children under 3 years. - 24 hours in children aged 3-6 years. - 48 hours in children over 6 years & adults. Contains 156mg of potassium per 200mL dose. If you have kidney disease or are taking heart or blood pressure medicines, consult your doctor or pharmacist before use. Keep out of reach of children. Contains 276 mg of sodium per 200 mL dose. Quantity of sodium per maximum daily dose is 5.52 g.
