General Product Description

Hydralyte Lemonade Ice Blocks relieve symptoms of dehydration by helping replace water and electrolytes lost due to vomiting, diarrhoea, heavy sweating, vigorous exercise and occasional hangovers.

Directions for Use

  1. Place Hydralyte Ice Blocks in the freezer.
  2. When frozen cut open one end with clean scissors.
  3. Push the frozen Hydralyte Ice Block from the uncut end.
  4. Suck small amounts until consumed.

Recommended dosage for dehydration due to vomiting and diarrhoea:

  • Under 12 months: Give 1 Ice block every 60 mins up to 6 Ice blocks daily
  • 1-3 years: Give 1 Ice block every 60 mins up to 24 Ice blocks daily
  • 3-6 years: Give 1 Ice block every 30 mins up to 32 Ice blocks daily
  • 6-12 years: Give 2 Ice block every 30 mins up to 43 Ice blocks daily
  • 12- Adult Recommended dosage:Give 3 Ice block every 30 mins up to 64 Ice blocks daily

For dehydration due to other causes: Drink Hydralyte when thirsty or exhibiting signs of dehydration. Do not exceed the maximum daily dosage. Hydralyte Ice Blocks may be consumed unfrozen, however, Hydralyte Ready to Use Solution is more convenient as a drink.

 

Warnings

Always read and follow the directions for use If symptoms persist, consult your healthcare practitioner.

Seek medical advice if vomiting or diarrhoea persists for more than: - 6 hours in infants under 6 months. - 12 hours in children under 3 years. - 24 hours in children aged 3-6 years. - 48 hours in children over 6 years & adults. Contains 156mg of potassium per 200mL dose. If you have kidney disease or are taking heart or blood pressure medicines, consult your doctor or pharmacist before use. Keep out of reach of children. Contains 276 mg of sodium per 200 mL dose. Quantity of sodium per maximum daily dose is 5.52 g.

Active Ingredients (per 62.5mL Ice Block): Glucose monohydrate 1g Citric acid monohydrate 300mg Sodium from Sodium chloride 61.5mg Potassium from Potassium Citrate 50mg

Also contains: Sugars, sucralose, Sodium benzoate, Potassium sorbate. 54 mg of potassium per 62.5 mL Ice Block. 77 mg of sodium per 62.5 mL Ice Block.
