Directions for Use
Insert four AA batteries into the monitor, following the polarity markings.
Sit comfortably in a chair with your back supported, feet flat on the floor and legs uncrossed.
Rest quietly for at least five minutes before taking a measurement.
Wrap the cuff around your bare upper arm, positioning the lower edge approximately 1–2 cm above your elbow.
Secure the cuff firmly, ensuring the air tube runs along the inside of your arm.
Rest your arm on a table at heart level.
Press the START/STOP button to begin the measurement. The cuff will inflate automatically.
Remain still and avoid talking while the measurement is being taken.
Once complete, the monitor will display your systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure and pulse rate.
Record your results to help monitor blood pressure over time.
For consistent results, measure your blood pressure at approximately the same time each day. Avoid smoking, caffeine, alcohol and exercise for at least 30 minutes before taking a measurement.

Do not use the cuff on an injured arm or an arm receiving intravenous treatment. Only use the monitor with compatible Omron arm cuffs.
Incorrect cuff size, movement or positioning may affect measurement accuracy. If readings are consistently high, low or irregular, seek advice from your healthcare professional.
Keep the monitor away from excessive moisture, extreme temperatures and direct sunlight. Do not immerse the monitor or cuff in water.
