Senokot Dual Action with Softener is a stimulant laxative combining two active ingredients. The first being Sennosides, which is derived from Senna leaf and the second being Docusate Sodium, a stool softening agent.
It works to provide effective constipation relief by stimulating the muscles in the bowel and softening stools for easier and more comfortable bowel movements.

Directions For Use
Adults and children over 12 years: Take one or two tablets, as necessary. Increase up to 4 tablets if necessary.

This prouct is for short term use only. Do not use for longer than a week unless advised by your healthcare professional. Prolonged use is not recommended and may lead to dependence or serious bowel problems.
Not recommended for use in children under 12 years. Do not use when abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting is present, or if you develop diarrhoea.
If you are pregnant or breast feeding, seek the advice of a healthcare professional before taking this product. Increase fibre in your diet except in cases of medication induced constipation. If symptoms persist, seek advice from a health care practitioner. Drink plenty of water. Do not take with other medicine or liquid paraffin, unless advised by a doctor.

Each tablet contains Total Sennosides (calculated as Sennoside B) 8mg and Docusate Sodium 50mg.
