Clearer skin doesn't happen overnight, but the right treatment can make a big difference.
Differin Gel takes a different approach to clearing and preventing acne by tackling breakouts where they start - deep in the pores. By working beneath the surface, it helps to stop the pores from clogging and targets acne before it starts. As a result, it restores the skin texture and tone, leaving it smoother and healthier over time.
When used daily, it has been seen to visibly improves acne after just 2 weeks1. This makes it a powerful tool for long-term success and unlike prescription retinoids, it's available over the counter at your local Blooms The Chemist pharmacy.
Differin Gel doesn't stop there - it also targets blackheads, whiteheads, blemishes and clogged pores by regulating skin cell turnover overall.

Use a gentle, oil-free cleanser to cleanse the skin with warm water to wash away dirt, oil and any impurities.

Next, apply a pea-sized amount of Differin Gel retinoid once every day all over your face. Helpful tip: Continue this process even after your face is clear, to prevent future breakouts.
Moisturise
Apply a light moisturiser that’s formulated for acne-prone or combination skin, to reduce the chance of developing extreme dryness or oiliness.
Protect from the sun
In the morning, apply an oil-free, broad-spectrum sunscreen liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure and don’t forget to reapply at least every two hours.

How Differin Gel can help your skin
Differin Gel contains adapalene, a type of retinoid that regulates cell turnover. Topical retinoids, like Differin Gel, play a crucial role in the treatment of acne. Retinoids have vitamin A activity which helps regulate cell turnover to make sure your skin goes through the right process, creating a healthier environment for skin.
Differin Gel is a non-comedogenic, fragrance-free gel, the first over-the-counter active ingredient for acne created by Differin.
