Relieve muscle pain with Voltaren Pain Relief Gel

More than 3.48 million adults [1] aged 15 and over go for a run or jog each year, making running one of the most popular forms of physical activity in the country.

With so many people enjoying the many benefits of running, it’s no wonder we experience some aches and pains along the way.

Whether it's a morning jog, weekend run club with friends or a long-distance challenge, post-run aches and stiffness can make it harder to stay consistent and make recovery slower.

Voltaren Pain Relief Gel absorbs [2] deep into the skin to relieve pain and reduce inflammation.

Voltaren Pain Relief Gel is available over the counter and can be found at your local Blooms The Chemist pharmacy.

How does Voltaren Pain Relief Gel work?

Unlike products such as heat rubs and cooling gels that work by heating or cooling the skin, Voltaren Pain Relief Gel contains a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) called diclofenac reducing inflammation at the source to relieve pain.

Emulgel technology allows the gel to penetrate the skin to enhance the delivery of diclofenac to the point of pain. Applying the gel lets the active ingredient, diclofenac, go deeper into the skin and target the source of inflammation and pain.

Diclofenac works by blocking the body’s production of some of the chemicals that cause you to feel pain, when you are experiencing tenderness and swelling.

What is Voltaren Pain Relief Gel used for?

1.

Acute soft tissue injuries, including sprains, strains and sports injury.

2.

Localised soft tissue rheumatism, including tendinitis and bursitis.

3.

The temporary relief of local pain and inflammation associated with mild forms of osteoarthritis of the knees and fingers.

Always read the label and follow all manufacturer instructions and directions for use.
