Key Features
Directions for Use
Before You Begin
Do not eat, drink, smoke, chew gum, or use oral products for at least 10 minutes before sampling — anything in the mouth can dilute the oral fluid and affect results.
Step-by-Step
Prepare the Test:
Ensure the test device and swab are at room temperature prior to use.
Open the sealed pouch when ready to collect.
Collect Oral Fluid:
Place the absorbent swab end in the mouth.
Swab under the tongue and along the gums 10–15 times until a sufficient amount of saliva appears (about 60 seconds).
Activate the Test:
Insert the swab into the pen housing (test device) and start timing immediately.
Wait & Read:
Allow the test to develop for 3 minutes (results may be read up to 10 minutes after initiation).
Two lines (control + test) = Negative for that drug.
One line (control only) = Positive for that drug.
No control line = Invalid test (repeat with a new device).
Warnings
Before Testing
Always read and follow the directions for use
Do not place anything in the mouth — including food, drink, gum, tobacco, lozenges, etc. — for at least 10 minutes before collecting the oral fluid sample.
Use the test only once; it is a single-use device.
Ensure the product is within its expiry date and stored properly.
Limitations
This test provides preliminary screening results only.
Positive results must be confirmed with more specific laboratory testing (e.g., GC/MS) to be definitive.
The test does not indicate level of impairment, dosage, or timing of use.
Medicines or other substances may interfere with results — use professional judgment and confirm with a lab.
Interpretation Cautions
A negative result does not guarantee absence of drugs — levels may be below cut-off thresholds.
A positive result may be due to legal medications or cross-reactive substances.
If the control line fails to appear, discard the result and repeat with a new test.
