Vicks VapoRub Lavender Chest Rub Ointment is now available in Lavender scent! Vicks VapoRub Lavender releases medicinal vapours for up to 8 hours. It relieves cough, blocked nose and eases congestion for a peaceful sleep through the night.

Directions for Use

Rub-on: Adults and children 2 years and above: Rub a thick layer on chest, neck and back.

Steam Inhalation: Adults and children 12 years and above: Partly fill a bowl with 500 mL of hot (not boiling) water and add 10 mL (2 teaspoonfuls) of VapoRub. Gently inhale the steaming vapours with a towel over your head and bowl for 10-15 minutes. May be repeated up to four times a day.

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth or mucous membrane. When exposed to eyes, rinse eyes with water immediately. Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to any ingredients listed on the label. If you have sensitive skin, test this product on a small area of skin before applying it to a large area.

When using for rub-on, do not: 

• Use on children under 2 years of age unless directed by a physician
• Apply close to eyes
• Appy to nostrils, on or around nose, wounds, or damaged skin 
• Bandage tightly or use with heating pads

When using for steam inhalation, read the instructions carefully to ensure safe usage. Incorrect usage may result in serious burns or scalds. Do not:

• Use on children under 2 years of age
• Leave children unsupervised
• heat in microwave or reheat mixture
• Add into the hot water that you are heating 

Ingredients

Active Ingredients: Menthol 2.82% w/w, Eucalyptus Oil 1.33% w/w. Also contains: Racemic Camphor, Turpentine Oil, Cedar Leaf Oil, Nutmeg Oil, Lavender Oil, Fragrance and Thymol in White Soft Paraffin base.
